• The Sanctuary of Loreto, a Catholic place of pilgrimage containing, according to tradition, the house where Virgin Mary lived.
• Recanati, hometown of the Italian poet Giacomo Leopardi and the tenor Beniamino Gigli, which is why the town is known to some as “he city of poetry”.
• Jesi, the town where emperor Federico II of Svevia lived
• The medieval Castle of Gradara
• The caves of Frasassi, a labyrinth of rooms around two huge caves
